Set up RenalRoute
Four quick questions. Every one of them changes something you will see — nothing here is a form for its own sake.
Have recent lab results? You can add them any time from the Labs tab — RenalRoute works fully without them.

The camera identifies the foods. The nutrient numbers still come from the reference table, and you confirm the portion — a photo can't be trusted to judge how much is on a plate.
Breaking your meal down…
One quick question
Check before saving
Couldn't save. Your meal is still here — tap Save to today to try again.

Labs
Scan your lab report
Take a photo and RenalRoute fills in the potassium, phosphorus, eGFR and date. Nothing is saved until you check it — and nothing about the report leaves your device except the image itself.

Appearance
Automatic follows your device. Choose Light or Dark to override it — useful if your phone is dark all day but you read numbers more comfortably on white.
Text size
Scales the whole interface, so spacing and tap targets grow with the text instead of the layout breaking. Your browser's own zoom still works too.
Language
Your data
No account. Not now, not later.
There is no sign-up, no password, and no server holding your lab values. Everything you log stays in this browser on this device, and nothing is uploaded — the only thing that ever leaves is a meal photo you choose to take, which is read and discarded, never stored.
The trade is that clearing your browser data, switching phones, or using a different browser loses everything. That is what the backup below is for.
Back up everything
One file with all of it — meals, labs, targets, passport, settings. Keep it somewhere safe and you can restore it on any device.
Where our numbers come from
Every position this app takes and the source behind it — including the ones we have not re-derived yet. Nutrition apps rarely publish this, which is why it is worth publishing.
Health passport
A card for an ambulance, a new doctor, or a pharmacy in another city — conditions, medicines, allergies, and who to call. It works offline and it prints.
Take it with you
"Bring your food diary" is a real instruction, and the honest answer to it is paper. Printing works from any screen — your week, today, or your passport — and the page carries your name, the date, and which targets the figures were measured against. The summary is one page for a clinician; the spreadsheet is every item you've logged.
Remove it
Delete everything?
This removes your meals, lab entries, targets, and settings from this device. It can't be undone.
Health passport
A card you can show, print, or read out if you cannot explain things yourself. It works with no signal and no account.
Everything on this card is typed by you. RenalRoute does not measure, calculate, or check any of it. It is a place to write things down and hand them over — not a medical record.
Printing gives you something for a wallet or a fridge door. It does not need the app to be working.
Kitchen
What can dinner be?
Check a food label
Type or paste the ingredient list from a package. RenalRoute looks for the additives that matter for kidneys — the ones that never show up on the nutrition panel.
